Warranty: Standard Trade Practices of the Auto Dismantling Industry
- Taxes will be charged for all purchases within the State of Michigan unless Tax ID is provided with a signed MICHIGAN SALES and USE TAX CERTIFICATE of EXEMPTION Form 3372.
- All parts come with a 30-day parts only warranty. If the part fails within the 30-day period, Young’s Auto Parts and Recycling reserves the right to provide another part; the purchased part must be returned. Young’s Auto Parts & Recycling cannot guarantee the parts purchased will fix the problem with your vehicle and under no circumstances will a refund be offered if it does not.
- All engines are warranted against cracked cylinder blocks, head damage, bad cam or crankshaft, or excessive smoking, and to be in good running order unless otherwise stated. Gaskets, seals, relays and/or sensors are not covered. All engines are sold as long blocks only, accessories are not included with the sale of the engines, at times these items may be left on the engine, that is for convenience and is no assurance of proper fit. ALL engines must be installed by a LICENSED MECHANIC.
- All electronic parts have been tested and are in working order. There is NO RETURN or REFUND on any electrical component(s).
- Buyer affirms that Young’s Auto Parts & Recycling offered the buyer to examine, inspect, see pictures or a video of the part before purchase of the part.
- Any concerns or disputes must be made within 30 days of the original purchase date. The necessary refunds will be provided for the cost of the PART(s) ONLY. Shipping and/or processing fees do not apply.
- All refunds are subject to IN-STORE CREDIT, part exchange or part repair. A receipt must be provided for all refunds. 
- All returned or canceled orders/merchandise is subject to 35% RESTOCKING FEE.
- Insurance will be taken out on any body parts to be shipped via UPS. This does not include shipping via freight.
- Any freight shipped items are to be shipped to a business location. If a residential delivery is necessary, an additional $200 charge for the need of a lift gate.
- Any shipping disputes or issues are the responsibility of the customer with the shipping company or UPS.
- Young’s Auto Parts & Recycling will only accept brokered orders, blind shipments if payment is from the brokering company.
- Core(s) are due at time of purchase or a core deposit of up to 30% of the value of the part will be charged to the purchaser. Purchaser has 2 weeks from the time of purchase to return the core(s). Core charges will NOT be returned without a receipt. The return of the core is the responsibility of the purchaser.
