Scrap Pricing for the month of Jun 2025
This month’s vehicle scrap pricing per ton is $145. That is a huge drop from last month. As always, we still consider vehicle condition to a point, but that per ton amount is the basis of all offers. We are looking for vehicles that are 2014 and newer, anything older than that our offer will be closer to the per ton amount; of course we will still evaluate each vehicle on an individual basis. This does not apply to classics or antiques.
According to our AI overlords on the Google, in Michigan, “a vehicle is generally considered a “classic” if it’s 25 years old or older.” An antique is “a vehicle is typically considered a historic vehicle (often referred to as an antique car) if it is over 25 years old and is owned primarily as a collector’s item, not for general transportation.”
