NEW AUTO PARTS FOR WEEK OF 6/30/25
2008 Dodge Charger. We got this due because of the rusted subframe and front suspension. The previous owner changed out the speedometer cluster, so I do not have accurate mileage. Engine runs strong, the entire drive train is strong (rear wheel drive). Clean interior. Body is mostly clean; however it looks like somebody used an abrasive cloth to clean the vehicle, so a lot of the clear coat is off on the passenger side. There is a full set of 18″ rims, no tires though, all 4 were bald.
2001 Volkswagen Jetta GLS-TDI. This vehicle has 258,866 miles. It does run, roughly. Suspension is all bad. There were some alterations made, possibly for a derby or something. I can’t lie, it is ugly.
2008 Chevy Malibu LS. Cosmetically, there are a lot of defects. Scrapes, small dings, a crease or two. The engine does run; it only has 234,743 miles. That’s about all I can say about this one.
1999 Ford F150 XLT. This ole girl has seen better days. She has a rusted frame. Another one that I just don’t have a whole to say about.
2008 Ford F150 XLT Crew cab. This vehicle was previously our company vehicle. We put about 40k miles on it. There is a 5.4L Triton engine that runs strong with a grand total of 237,865 miles. There is a full set of 18″ aluminum rims, sorry, no tires. The body is pretty clean, only a few blemishes until you get to the 5.5′ box. The quarter panel on the LH side of the box has some missing metal, and there is a small dent on the rear of the RH side, just under the taillight. There is a solid fiberglass tonneau cover, 139″ wheelbase. The transmission is the biggest problem. In the “drive” gear, she is not consistently going into gear, so much so that the boss pulled the trigger to part the truck out.
